Vision & Priorities

"A financially strong, transparent, and accountable Nation, safe, healthy, and united for future generations."

Priorities for Our Future

As your next Chief, I commit to work with you to develop a four year action plan in each of the priority areas, here are some of my ideas, let's talk:

Health

Increase access and length of time for our members in need of treatment & establish sober transition living spaces to come back home to. To establish harm reduction strategies like Naxolone stations located throughout the community to reduce drug poisoning/overdose.

Safety

Improve security of the community through a digital surveillance camera system that monitors the safety of the people. This system would supplement the current Tribal Peacekeeper program and give the officers better coverage over your safety.

Education & Training

Strengthen education for all & design a system that allocates funding fairly & academically tracks students to advise & support their success. Increase graduation rates and shorten achievement gaps, to better prepare our people for future opportunities across all sectors.

Financial Transparency

Protect & develop our Nation's resources with stronger systems of accountability for the economic well being of the People.

Infrastructure & Housing

Invest in clean water, housing, and community spaces including Elder housing, youth facilities, and safe access to land and water. Create the "Rez Beautification Plan" to develop the shoreline and boat landing, with boardwalks and a park for the youth.
